What holds you together? This retreat we hope to look at the threads which weave together and build our faith lives. The scriptures offer us threads that show how life with God is a mixture of wrestling, doubt, sacrifice, and conflict alongside hope, purpose, and meaning. When we spend time together remembering God’s action and presence in the midst of our questions, grief, and doubt, we offer threads of God’s grace to one another. The goodness of God can feel like a mystery, difficult to grasp at any given moment, and yet when we reflect and share out stories, we find God is persistently surrounding us and carrying us through. We have the invitation to weave these threads of God’s action - from scripture and our own lives - and catch a glimpse to see what tapestry God is making.
Join us for a weekend of drawing close - with our questions, longings, and stories. Our God is living and active in our world today - amidst the chaos of our personal lives and the tragedy of global events, God is working good in the most unlikely places. Wherever you find yourself, your story is welcome here!

What to Expect
We will hold space for one another, so we can talk honestly about where we are on the journey of faith – what has shaped us, and what is piquing our spiritual curiosity today. Too many places these days curate echo chambers or feed division. Here we are building bridges - to better understand one another, we don’t turn away when we hear something different from our own opinion. Instead, we lean in and get curious.
We will explore the scriptures together, explore our own stories, and wonder about God’s action in today’s world. Through art, play, and rest, we will reflect together on what it means to do this in community.
We hope this is an intergenerational opportunity, to share faith among life stages and perspectives. We welcome moms with infants (up to 1yr), we welcome moms and their kids or grandkids who are 12yo+. We welcome women of every age and stage ready to enter into the conversations God is stirring up among us!
Becca Niemeyer, one of our Program Directors, will host the space. We won’t have speakers, but will engage in communal activities – you’ll be invited to share in conversation as much or as little as you want. It will be space for us to learn together what it means to do faith across generations. Our hope is that the offerings of this weekend can help shape your intentions back home in cultivating community spaces for faith conversation.
We hope you’ll join us!
