A great place, great people, great food, and great fun as we grow in our relationships with each other and our great God!
The importance and significance of meaningful relationships is essential to our well-being and ability to flourish in life. God created us in his image, as interdependent people. We need one another in order to grow, mature, find help and support, and thrive. Without core relationships, our joys, sorrows, celebrations, crisis, happiness, and hurts are experienced alone leading to all sorts of physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual maladies.
At our retreat this spring, we will focus primarily on the theme Moving Forward. You will experience community, build deeper relationships, and share your life’s journey with others. Keys to lasting and fulfilling relationships will be shared while we’re all together, in small groups, one-on-one, and in informal conversation.
This retreat is generally for those in the 2nd third of adult life, approximately ages 45ish to 65ish, adult children, aging parents, and/or mid-to-late career.
**We have a special invitation to spend additional time together on Friday, March 7 skiing at Mission Ridge. An additional night of accommodation (no meals) can be added during registration for the night of Thursday, March 6.
What to Expect:
Our Living Well series focuses on four major life stage issues: 1) Letting Go, 2) Walking Alongside, 3) Deepening Core Relationships, and 4) Moving Forward (this spring!). We don’t do keynote speakers at these life stage transition retreats - rather we trust in God’s guidance and movement of the Spirit through one another, sharing wisdom from our lives, and being curious with one another. We will hear stories from Doug Waltar, Andrew and Amy Funka, Steve and Glenda Schlahta, Scott Johnson, and more as we explore moving forward as followers of Christ.
Registrations closes Sunday March 2nd, save $25 with an early bird discount if you register by February 14th!
