New board members Andy and Mary Robinson have lived in Cashmere for the last 23 years. Andy is a Children’s Pastor in a local church and Mary works as an Office Administrator for Young Life. They both received their BA in Recreation from Eastern Washington University.
They have had experience working with the following camps: Campfire USA: Camp Roganunda & Camp Sealth; Boy Scout Camp Boneparte; Assembly of God Camps: Silver Lake and Lost Lake; Presbyterian: Camp Spalding and Tall Timber Ranch; Free Methodist: Warm Beach Camp; Young Life Camps: Washington Family Ranch and Malibu; and Camas Meadows. Through these experiences they have worked as counselors, maintenance, program intern, program director, registrar, director, life guard, speaker and board member. In all this they are strong supporters of camp ministry and hope to be useful in the advancement of Ingalls Creek Enrichment Center.
They have three adult children and in their free time they like to hike, camp, fish, frisbee golf, attend soccer games and spend time with friends and family.
New board members
Doug and Cynthia Williams have lived in the Leavenworth, Washington area since 1995. Doug spent his career in healthcare, primarily in administration. He recently retired from serving as administrator/CEO of Cascade Medical Center in Leavenworth, a small rural public hospital and clinic. He also spent two years on a special project, developing a conference and retreat center as a non-healthcare related revenue stream for another hospital. He has planned and overseen several major building projects, served as a consultant with other healthcare organizations, given guest lectures at the college level, facilitated board retreats and strategic planning sessions and published two research papers. He has been active in professional associations, service clubs and community activities.
Doug graduated from the University of Washington, although he has been known to cheer for the Washington State Cougars on occasion. Cynthia graduated from Seattle Pacific University. She was an elementary school teacher prior to starting their family.
They have three grown children and five grandchildren. Their kids live in Idaho and Nevada.
Doug and Cynthia enjoy camping, fishing, hunting, hiking and just about any other outdoor activity. They especially enjoy being with their children and grandchildren. Family is critically important in their lives.
Doug and Cynthia became Christians in their youth and have served in many church capacities, including Sunday School teachers, Bible study leaders, and board and session members. They believe strongly that Jesus is Lord of their lives, that He is the only way to salvation, that the Bible is true, and that the Holy Spirit is with them providing support and guidance moment by moment.

April 10th Pastor Cheryl Fears led a one-day retreat focusing on the book “Confronting Your Clutter” by Carolyn Koehnline. This event was held at Alanna’s Landing, adjacent to the retreat center. During free time some of the group toured the retreat center lodge under construction and rode the zip line. Others took various nature hikes or simply relaxed in the cozy setting in the house. Everyone left feeling enriched and renewed.
At the April annual meeting three new board members were elected, all residing in the Wenatchee area. We are excited to welcome Doug Williams, retired administrator of Cascade Medical Center along with Andy Robinson, Assistant Pastor with Christ Center in Cashmere and his wife, Mary Robinson, who works for Young Life in Wenatchee. Brief bios and photos will be added as soon as available.
